Our Story

Lynn Arrington and David Watkins founded Arrington Watkins Architects in 1994 with the clear vision of creating a different kind of design firm, one that would focus on the needs and goals of our clients and the success of their projects. Today, in addition to the two principals, the firm now consists of a talented staff of 4, including 14 registered architects, who have been instrumental in sustaining this vision and the core values that guide us every day. Our design expertise is largely centered on technically complex projects for government agencies and design-builders, in areas such as criminal justice, public safety, public works, industrial and emergency communications.

Our 12 core values embody the Arrington Watkins culture. They are a reflection of what is important to us as a company and guide us as we continue to grow and evolve.

  • Pursue and share knowledge
  • Support a balanced life
  • Have fun!
  • Be passionate and dedicated to your work
  • Be creative, innovative and pursue new ideas
  • Promote open and honest communications
  • Be accountable
  • Build lasting relationships
  • Provide a WOW service experience
  • Embrace and drive change
  • Foster a collaborative environment
  • Treat people fairly and with respect

Lynn Arrington and David Watkins have trained their staff to be professional, perform with high quality and attention to detail. They are very good at working to the budget. I would recommend them for any project that fit their experience. They are the best.
