Scope Of Work

S.P. McCarl partnered with Mascaro Construction to install the mechanical equipment for this laboratory renovation. The mechanical included new chillers, pumps, aquatherm and copper piping, air handlers, ductwork, hot water heaters and more. This facility is being utilized for the animal research program. The strict project deadline was important to meet so that they could transport animals into the facility in time to start a second project. In order to meet these deadlines, we utilized our prefabrication shops to decrease onsite installation of the piping and sheet metal. Coordination and collaboration between all trades played a vital role due to the extremely tight spaces in the mechanical room, hallways and individual rooms.
