Spacetone Acoustics, Inc. the leader in commercial ceilings
Spacetone Acoustics, Inc. started in 1979 in the small garage of Robert Libby. Over the next
three decades Spacetone would grow to become one of the largest commercial ceiling
contractors in Northern California, doing work for high-profile general contractors such as
Webcor Builders, DPR Construction, Inc., and Rudolph and Sletten, Inc. The Spacetone
family now includes four experienced estimators, a dependable projects manager, and an
efficient office staff.
We specialize in all applications of acoustical ceiling systems, metal ceilings, wood ceilings,
sound control, and wall treatments. We have successfully served contractors and owners
throughout Northern California, establishing professional relationships and building a
reliable reputation with all of our customers.

In April 2011, Spacetone Acoustics, Inc. was named winner of CISCA's (Ceilings & Interior
Systems Construction Association) Annual Silver Award for the installation of approximately
20,000 square feet of a wood ceiling system for the University of California, Mission Bay
Cardiovascular Research Facility.
