Scope Of Work

Complete interior renovation of the first floor of the 100 year old Aitkin landmark Butler building with some exterior work also.  The owner approached Hy-Tec with the dream of re-opening the Butler building.  She had a preliminary plan and permit from the City to get started.  Hy-Tec put the whole envelope together for her.

To begin with, Hy-Tec removed all the garbage from the building, installed a 3 stop elevator and a new roof.  An egress fire escape for the upstairs was built, we created 6 new lease spaces on the main floor, created a coffee bar in one of the spaces, installed two new bathrooms, installed new power and lighting, installed a new mechanical system for the first floor, re-finished the existing oak floors, installed new windows and front doors.

We completely renovated the Butler Building with the intent of maintaining the historical feel.
