Scope Of Work
Pine Street Carpenters remodeled this H&R Block store located in the heart of Manhattan’s financial district. The 2000 sf. store remodel was part of an upgrade to existing tax preparation stores in order to rebrand and contemporize the H&R Block stores. The remodel included selected demolition, including carpet, electric, and ceiling demo. New carpet and VCT flooring were installed; lighting, electric, and phone/data lines were upgraded; and a new drop ceiling was added. The store remodel also included new paint and installation of new furniture. The new office layout includes a reception area, several private workstations for H&R Block tax experts to meet with clients, a server/storage room, and a bathroom. Pine Street Carpenters worked to ensure a quick turnaround for this project to accommodate the client’s tight timeframe and minimize the amount of time from store closing to re-opening.
