Scope Of Work
This new 4,200-square-foot LEED-certified restaurant is the first Culver’s that Friede & Associates constructed. This facility features an attractive exterior façade highlighted with EIFS (exterior insulation finishing system), cultured stone and contemporary awnings. It is Culver’s first location to focus on energy efficiency and was one of Southern Wisconsin’s first restaurants to be LEED-certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. The project has become a model for future franchises wanting to incorporate sustainable design practices.
Completed in just four months, Friede & Associates’ team members needed to coordinate construction of the restaurant with two adjacent street repair projects being carried out by the local municipality.
Friede & Associates was recognized by the Wisconsin Chapter of the Associated Builders & Contractors with a Project of Distinction Award in the General Construction-Green Building Practices category.
