Scope Of Work
CarMax is making a presence in Escondido, California with the construction of a brand-new 14,000 square foot Auto Superstore. This store includes a total of three tilt-up buildings consisting of a main showroom building, a freestanding service building and a separate carwash building. All of the buildings are textured with a compound of exterior insulated finish system (EIFS) and decorative stone veneer. The remainder of the site is enclosed with decorative ornamental fencing where all their vehicles are situated.
Lusardi facilitated construction on the project by assisting with the acquisition of the building permit and were at once prepared to begin construction after approval. During the first two months of construction we encountered unfavorable weather that threatened the established project schedule; but because we had all the resources necessary to recondition any damages, the schedule was not compromised and the project was concluded in the original five in a half month schedule.
