Scope Of Work
davisREED was the first builder to ever be awarded a modular design-build contract with LAUSD. Additionally, the team’s participation in the CHPS (LEED for schools) program garnered the District more than $250,000 in state funding, which was awarded based on the superior CHPS performance of the building. Two modular projects were completed. This project entailed building a two-story classroom facility beside each existing elementary school in order to provide more classroom space for the growing number of students. Harbor City Elementary School also involved demolition, new parking areas, site utilities, and three portable classroom facilities and their foundations.
