Scope Of Work

This was a Commercial building project, in which the client had previously activated his Insurance Company and then contacted SLOG Group for the Roofing repair service. As the property had suffered damage by natural forces, the Insurance Claim was covered and Slog was hired to repair the damage on the roof of the Commercial property. After our first inspection, we found the need to remove the old Mod-bit roof system. Modified-Bitumen (Mod-bit) roofing systems are a durable, weather resistant type of low-slope roof. Mod-bit materials are sold in rolls, and its seams are sealed using heat (the common open flame torch), for adhering. After a 20-day-project, the old Mod-bit system was removed and disposed of, there were old roof structures also removed and we installed a TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) membrane, one of the most durable and fast growing systems for Flat Roofs. It can last up to 30 years and very good at resisting dirt build-up, punctures, and tears as well. This process is a hard, meticulous process and requires attention to detail when installing, our crew is highly trained to install and have the outmost expertise with TPO systems. 

Finishing the project within a 20 day window was of great satisfaction, given all the work that had to be done. Our crew worked tirelessly to deliver a high quality, durable and safe roof back to the company. This, for sure, was a great accomplishment for SLOG Group and we are proud of the results.
