Our Story
Since 1890, Massachusetts Broken Stone has manufactured high quality construction aggregate for use in projects up and down the east coast. We are a MassDOT certified asphalt producer, capable of manufacturing any and all Driveway, Roadway, Marshall, and Superpave Mixes. In addition to manufacturing, we also offer Commercial & Residential asphalt paving services throughout Worcester, Middlesex, Norfolk, & Suffolk County.
With our two operating quarries, Holden Trap Rock and Berlin Stone Company, we have significant reserves to be able to supply quality products and meet the needs of our customers for decades to come. Our quarries, in conjunction with our construction division, allow us to provide a complete solution for asphalt paving supply and installation.
