Scope Of Work
Completed project for the Irving Fine Arts Academy for approximately, 2,000 square feet of vacant commercial office space. The project consisted of framing, drywall, insulation, ceiling install, door install, window install, painting, electrical wiring, lighting, and outlet install, HVAC, and soundproofing drywall install.
ProSTUD galvanized steel wall framing studs with Fire-Shield fire-resistant drywall sheets was installed for the framework. Therma fiber fire and sound guard mineral wood was selected for the insulation. Sixteen sets of French Door Series. 3'0'' x 6'8'' were selected for the door installation. Black-padded ceiling tiles were installed for roughly 1,000 square feet. of vacant office space which was utilized for the dance floor. Two sets of 1/2'' x 4' windows were installed. In relations to the electrical services, a 200A/30/120V/208V electrical panel set and eighteen electrical outlets, and a #10 main line pipe 1' 1/2'' conduit line was installed. The HVAC services included flexible duct arrangement,
insulated duct installation and damaged supply and return plenum repair sealing. In order to combat the sound generated from the Dance Academy a soundproof drywall was installed on-top of the existing installed drywall to mitigate the noise the business generated. Installed was a 3' rock wool sound resistant insulation, the hanging of 5/8'' sound resistant breaker boards on both sides of the framed wall, floor to deck and tape bed, and a skim with two coats were applied. Upon completion construction clean-up services were serviced.
