Scope Of Work
SIZE AND SCOPE: 11,864 s: The work included the complete renovation of a Georgia World Congress Center restaurant, to include the kitchen, serving and dining areas. The work entailed new partitions, hardware, flooring, mechanical/electrical/plumbing upgrades, lighting, power, lightning protection, telecom/data, fire alarm systems, finishes and millwork/casework throughout the construction scope.
DESCRIPTION: Building renovation project of ~ 30,000 sf under a compressed schedule in an active operating environment. The work required multiple shifts . The project team primarily consists of Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, Safety Manager, Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent and Finishers.

Work Performed by Subcontractors/Subconsultants: Demolition, Framing/Drywall Installation, MEP, Fire Protection upgrades, Glass, interior renovations
CHALLENGES:
Unforeseen Conditions. There was several unforeseen issues in the concrete floors.
Operating Environment. There were multiple conferences underway throughout construction. Safety and cleanliness were a priority.
