John Marmesh's Bio
John recommends and coordinates comprehensive pre-construction and construction services for the private business, industrial, institutional facilities and clean-tech markets based on his broad understanding of facility development strategies, and extensive experience in incorporating current and future business needs. With 30 years of experience in construction and real estate, he understands what it takes to minimize cost and optimize efficiency, and move a construction or development project from conception to finished product.
John has completed the ISPE Professional Development Training course, ‘cGMP for Facility Design Construction and Maintenance. His association with the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), and the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) provides him with a background and relationships which assist TICO construction in serving its clients.

Brian Schneider-Turk's Bio
As a graduate of the University of Colorado, with a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering and Focus in Construction Management, Brian joined Tico, proving to be a great asset to our team and clients.
He has been involved in every phase of his projects from pre-construction through project closeout.
His attention to detail, commitment to each project as well as his diverse expertise in the construction industry enables him to engage in the most complex and challenging projects.
Throughout his career, he displayed leadership and alignment with Tico’s vision. Demonstrating expertise and ingenuity, resulted in Brian’s recent addition to our shareholder team.
Dennis Byrd's Bio
Dennis joined Tico Construction in 2017 with 35 years of experience as a professional construction superintendent/manager, proving to be the perfect fit for any project he gets involved in. His varied project experience includes heavy industrial infrastructure, facility pads, major tool install, Class A office interior build-outs, new building shell construction, educational facilities, café, and food-service facilities, healthcare and fitness centers, structural and seismic upgrades, biotechnology facilities, cleanrooms, and ADA compliance upgrade projects. Through his experience, collaboration, project tracking, and safety track record, Dennis implements process improvements resulting in delivering projects on time and on budget.
Glenn Soma's Bio
During his 30 years in commercial construction, Glenn has established a strong reputation for staying involved with his project from start to finish.
His strengths include competitive estimating, master planning, conceptual pricing, scheduling coordination and supervision for high tech specialty facilities including clean rooms, chemical facilities, biotech and pharmaceutical projects, major equipment fit-up & installation.
Glenn coordinates production engineering and quality control during installation of specialty items and trades, such as high purity piping, clean room technology, micro-environments, air quality, industrial waste treatment and water systems equipment technology.
Kathy McGuckin's Bio
Kathy joined Tico in 2019 with 20+ years of experience in the commercial building sector.
With a vast experience in both property and construction project management, she anticipates her clients’ needs, while adhering to both budget and long-term maintenance requirements.
Her attention to detail and commitment to quality assures the successful completion of each project she manages.
Throughout, her responsibilities have included all phases of construction from estimating, project supervision, site inspection, all the way to project closeout.
Kathy’s Portfolio encompasses an extensive range of projects including tenant interiors, office buildings, retail facilities, healthcare facilities, private schools as well as a variety of projects in the electronics and R&D sectors.
Liz Olkiewicz's Bio
Joining TICO Construction in 2014 as a Project Engineer, Liz quickly progressed into the Project Management role. With over a decade of experience in the Construction Industry, she has gained substantial experience in Project Management, Contracts, Scheduling, Estimating and Problem Solving, Liz has become a leader for the Company.
Liz is passionate about Project Management. Her Coordination of Clients, Architects and Subcontractors have allowed her to cultivate substantial repeat and referral clients.
Mike Armstrong's Bio
Mike brings 20+ years of experience to the TICO Construction team. He has successfully completed an extensive range of projects: tenant interiors, office buildings, retail facilities, healthcare facilities, and a variety of buildings in the electronics and R&D industries.
Mike’s commitment to the quality of each project he manages assures our clients that their project will be completed successfully while adhering to their budget.
As a LEED® Accredited Professional, Mike possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in the design process, to support and encourage integrated design, and to streamline the application and certification process.
Member of the International Code Conference ICC.

Shawn Clancy's Bio
Shawn graduated California State University, Chico in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. She has 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, which includes estimating, project engineering, project administration as well as project management.
Her strong and timely communication skills with clients have led her to a continuous working relationship with them throughout the different phases of her career.
Shawn’s primary role includes working with Project Team Members; including Project Owners and Owner representatives, Local and State regulatory agencies, Design Consultants, Subcontractors, and Project Superintendents.
Her experience includes a variety of ground up and tenant improvement projects throughout Northern California including high tech, real estate, auto dealership and health/medical office buildings.
Wayne Wilson's Bio
In 2018 Wayne joined Tico as a Sr Project Superintendent with an extensive 30 years background in commercial construction project management & field supervision.
His varied project experience includes professional office spaces, campus exteriors and interiors, outpatient clinics, testing facilities, retail remodels, second-story additions, and ground-up construction projects.
Wayne’s expertise coupled with his hard work has proven to be invaluable to our team.
William Reed's Bio
As a graduate of Chico State University with a Degree in Sustainable Manufacturing and a minor in Managing for Sustainability, William Joined Tico construction in 2018.
His prior work experience through and after college in the commercial industry – from clean rooms, R&D labs, process piping, process cooling systems, large and small scale electrical to concrete and masonry work- has made him a strong asset to our team and our clients.
Throughout projects he overseas, William provides smooth communication between vendors, architects, engineers, and clients, while closely working with superintendents to ensure deadlines and scope requirements are met.
William’s commitment to the quality of each project he manages assures our clients, that their project will be completed successfully while adhering to their budgets and expectations.

Riley Marmesh's Bio
With a B2B experience in diverse markets and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing, Riley’s role focuses on building a personal relationship with our team, clients and subcontractors, thus creating a project team that complements our clients’ approach, goals and expectations.
He personally grew a small start-up business to a 600+ customers throughout the bay area with $500k in yearly sales within the first years of inception.
Riley’s innovative approach, his background in sales, operations and management in corporate services and furnishings, as well as his experience in the construction industry, makes him a great asset to our team and our clients.
