Why Backhaul Engineering?  Our RF experts are highly trained, licensed and certified in Public Safety BDA/DAS, Microwave RF Design for PTP and PTMP, Mesh Networks, Small Cell, WiFi, Installation services for all tower & building communication applications, Small Cell, and Drone Services.  With the increasing demand for improved Public Safety Communications among emergency responders, we were perfectly prepared to address this important need and added it as a business unit.  

As Public Safety BDA/DAS specialists, we have the knowledge and experience to do your initial site survey using PCTEL equipment, create the design should the survey reveal inadequate in-building signal, install the ERCES (Emergency Responder Communications Enhancement System), and provide required scheduled maintenance and Retransmission Authorizations working closely with AHJ's and the FCC.  We are also brought in to troubleshoot when systems have been improperly installed.

We install Class A, Class B systems, as well as fiber where necessary or required.  We stay in contact with AHJ's (Authority Having Jurisdiction) within our coverage areas on a regular basis keeping up with the applicable NFPA codes, IFC and IBC.  We are also actively involved with educating Fire Marshals on the topic, most recently, our "Do You Copy?" webinar in collaboration with The Virginia Fire Marshal Training Academy in November 2021.
