Scope Of Work
Bell & Associates Construction, in partnership with Barton Malow and Harmony Construction Group, was the Construction Manager at Risk for the new home of the Triple-A Nashville Sounds minor league baseball team: First Horizon Park (formerly First Tennessee Park). The LEED Silver Ballpark resides in the Historic location of the Sulphur Dell Ballpark on the north side of downtown Nashville, bringing new life into an essential part of the city. Sulphur Dell is the original home of Nashville’s minor league team and was used from 1870 - 1963.
The construction was completed within 12 months for the Spring 2015 baseball season opener. The completed 100,000-SF state-of-the-art facility holds 10,000 people with both fixed seats and suites. The project is designed as a multi-use facility with space to accommodate city events, an enhanced greenway, and public green spaces.
