Scope Of Work
Iowa Demolition was contracted to abate and demolish ten 32,500 sq. ft. structures in a working chicken farm. The buildings were torn down and separated to maximize the recyclable materials and divert material from the landfill. The slabs and footings were removed and stockpiled on site to be crushed by Iowa Demolition. 102,000 tons of recycled concrete was produced and left on-site for reuse by Fremont Farms. The site then was leveled and compacted to match existing grade.
