Kory Mitchell's Bio
Kory brings over 25 year of experience in the industry to ESA. As Co-President, Kory is involved in every aspect of the business. His focus is on the direction and growth of ESA, from client relationship management to national branding and strategy. ESA’s growth can be attributed largely to the number of repeat customers and this success is a direct result of ESA’s commitment to its clients. Kory is the past- President of the Colorado Environmental Professionals Association (CEPA), where he served on the board for a decade.
Kristian Mitchell's Bio
Kristian has worked in the construction, demolition and abatement industries for over 25 years. As Co-President, Kristian oversees operations including: estimating, materials, manpower, disposal, equipment, and scheduling of all of ESA’s work. He employs a hands-on approach to every project he manages and has a visible presence on each jobsite. Kristian’s knowledge and extensive work experience result in his ability to provide a safe, innovative, and cost saving technical approach on every project. His considerable expertise and professionalism have cemented ESA’s reputation as a national leader in the environmental and demolition industries.
Operations
Allen Thomason's Bio
Al has 20 years of experience in the environmental abatement industry. He has worked throughout the U.S. on both small and large-scale projects, ranging from schools and healthcare facilities, to power plants and railroad work. Working out of ESA’s Denver office, Al holds asbestos supervisor certifications in Missouri and Illinois and manages projects throughout the Rocky Mountains and Midwest. Other training includes: OSHA Safety Training, and Mold Remediation.
Amanda Wozab's Bio
Amanda brings her education as a geologist and her 15 years of experience in chemical inventory management, generating storm water pollution plans, managing regulatory compliance projects and running the Asbestos Management Program for a Fortune 500 company to ESA where she can put her education and experience to work serving clients who require her professional credentials, unique skill set and strong technical background. She is also a member of several professional organizations including the Geological Society of America and the Nebraska Industrial Council on Environment.
Brian Burkle's Bio
Brian has over 20 years of experience safely managing and supervising restoration and abatement projects at schools, universities, commercial buildings and hospitals in the Midwest Region. His responsibilities include estimating, project management, scheduling and supervision of project and site personnel. He is committed to the safety of all associated with the project and holds himself to highest level of professionalism and customer service.
Chuck Steeples's Bio
Chuck has over 35 years of experience in the Construction Industry. With a background in Construction Safety, he has applied that mindset to all of his Projects, which range from universities, multi-story commercial buildings, casinos & hospitals. His responsibilities include Estimating Selective Demolition projects & Project Management. Chuck ensures that Safety is always the #1 Priority on each Project.
Dan Ward's Bio
Dan is an attentive, hands-on leader with over 15 years of experience managing and supervising technical environmental demolition projects across the US. His has a proactive approach to safety and regulatory compliance and he excels at communication. Dan’s current efforts focus on estimating and managing complex demolition and soil remediation projects in the Rocky Mountains and beyond.
Dave Neumyer's Bio
Dave has worked in the demolition and abatement industry for seven years in various roles including crew leader, project supervisor, estimator, and project manager. His project experience runs the gamut from single day residential projects to commercial projects with durations lasting several months up to a year. While most of his experience has been in the Front Range; he manages projects from New Mexico to Wyoming and everything in between including federal installations, educational facilities, industrial sites, and commercial buildings. Like all ESA employees, Dave wears many hats; his duties include estimating, project managing, and a strong focus on operations management which includes helping ensure projects are completed safely and to the satisfaction of the client.
Joel Aguilera's Bio
Joel has over 14 years of experience managing large-scale abatement projects making sure that they run safely and are in compliance with all Local,Federal and State Regulations. His experience consists of managing school projects, Federal facilities, and heavy industrial projects ranging from $10,000 to $1.5 million. At ESA, Joel is an essential part of operations. He serves as a crucial interface between the field and the project management team.

As Director of HR, Lina brings over 14 years’ experience as an HR professional to the ESA team. Her focus is supporting organizational development, employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, employee training, compensation, benefits, and human resources and corporate policy.
Marty Thomas's Bio
Marty has worked throughout the U.S. in the construction, demolition, abatement, and environmental remediation industries for over 25 years. As Director of Operations, Marty oversees day-to-day operations of the Denver office including safety, regulatory compliance, estimating, scheduling, and execution of all projects. He takes a hands-on approach to management and maintains a visible presence in the field.
Mike Berst's Bio
Mike has over 25 years of experience in the demolition and environmental industries. He has worked in every aspect of the business from field to regional director of operations. Mike oversees Midwest operations at ESA and Iowa Demolition. Mike takes a hands-on approach, managing all aspects of estimating, project management, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Robert Szynskie's Bio
Robert has over 25 years of experience working on various projects that have included various detailed practices and procedures for the control of asbestos, lead and other environmental hazards. Robert has become an industry leader through innovative techniques, accurate and complete project designs and detailed inspections.
Robert’s experience includes working with the State and the industry for 25 years providing criminal investigation assistance, legislative changes, regulatory updates, communication and education of those in the industry and supported the state’s efforts in maintaining the highest level of standards. Prior to joining ESA, Robert served as an Environmental Protection Specialist for the State of Colorado. He also served as past-president of the Colorado Environmental Professional.
Scott Huset's Bio
Scott’s primary duties include management of soil remediation projects, including all manpower, material, subcontractors, disposal and scheduling. He is responsible for complying with all regulatory agencies, enforcing all safety, time reporting, man-hour control and production reports. Scott’s credentials include NEEPA/AHERA/Colorado Asbestos Abatement Supervisor, HAZWOPER and Asbestos Project Supervisor.
Steve Gibeault's Bio
Steve has worked in the Demolition industry for over 25 years. He is instrumental on all demolition projects ESA undertakes in the Rocky Mountain region. Steve’s responsibilities include estimating, project management and safety. He takes a hands-on approach visiting most job-sites on a daily basis. His considerable expertise and professionalism has cemented ESA’s reputation as a highly innovative turnkey firm.
Will Frantzen's Bio
Will has worked in the Environmental Demolition industry for the past 5 years. His current role at Iowa Demolition is Project Manager/Estimator for the structural demolition division. His project experience varies from single-day residential projects to several-week long commercial projects. His duties include estimating, project management and coordination, and safety and regulatory compliance.

Jeremy Boka's Bio
Jeremy has been involved in the environmental and construction industry for over 25 years, with the last 8 spent as the Director of Business Development for a regional Top 150 Landscape Construction Firm. He believes in a handshake, and doing what you say you are going to do. He is proudly serving his second term on the Altoona, Iowa City Council, where is also Mayor Pro-tem, Public Safety Liaison, Polk County Emergency Management Commission, and Board Member on the Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau.
He has also been involved with the Associated General Contractors of Iowa, Des Moines Metropolitan Planning Organization, Metro Waste Authority, Mercy College of Health Sciences, and is a member of several Chambers of Commerce. He is also the past co-recipient of the Newell Franklin Award for community service and support of the Altoona community, as well as Entrepreneur of the Year from the Altoona Area Chamber of Commerce.

Cody Hunter's Bio
Cody’s knowledge of safety comes from his background in the fire service which began in 2006 at Saylor Township Fire Department where he was a Lieutenant since 2012. Cody oversees Safety for our Midwest Region where he takes a pro-active approach from conducting new hire safety orientations to jobsite safety audits ensuring our employees remain safe and are operating within our company safety guidelines.
