Louis R. Mullen's Bio
Louis R. Mullen, a Denver native, started Zephyr Outdoor Living in 2011 after owning a very successful lawn maintenance company. Realizing his passion was in design/build, he sold his lawn maintenance company at the end of 2010 to be able to give his full attention to what he loves, designing and building beautiful, unique landscapes that last a lifetime. Louis comes from a family of contractors and home builders, deciding long ago he had a flair for landscaping, it was a career path that found him. Louis is a member of the Association of Landscape Contractors of Colorado. His wealth of knowledge has earned him features in national publications and he has worked with some of the most prestigious landscape firms in the country. He has quickly garnered a reputation in the landscaping industry as an honest, ethical businessman who treats his employees and clients with fairness and understanding. He is a proud husband and father of three, running them from football practice, gymnastics and birthday parties; he has found that being a family man is his most rewarding job. On the rare occasions that they can get away, he and his wife Emily enjoy traveling the country to see concerts or sporting events. It is his motto and company motto “To passionately create a landscape that is uniquely beautiful and lasts a lifetime.”
