Scope Of Work
Columbia University’s Crew Shell House is steps away from the Hudson River at Baker Field. Comprised of the 1929 Boathouse and Gould-Remmer Boathouse, the newly renovated Crew Shell House provides two, three-bay shell houses that open directly onto an apron close to the water and locker rooms for visiting crews.
C&L Contracting also constructed an upper-level meeting area overlooking the water. The second-floor mezzanine features an observation deck showing off the building’s scenic location alongside the beautiful Inwood Hill Park, which overlooks the confluence of the Harlem and Hudson Rivers. C&L also constructed a training room at the Crew Shell House that features an indoor rowing machine.
