Cooper Oates Air Conditioning

COAC was founded in 1972 by Farrokh Cooper and Marvin “Buzz” Oates as Buzz Oates Air Conditioning to install and service commercial buildings primarily built by Buzz and his partners.  Over the years we have expanded considerably to work with many of the leading commercial General Contractors, Building Owners, Property Managers and Tenants in the Sacramento Valley region.  On July 1, 2007, to celebrate our 35th year in business and to honor both co-founders, we changed our name to Cooper Oates Air Conditioning.

We are pursuing a strategy of deliberate and profitable growth that calls for us to build on our 40 years of high quality work, honesty and personal integrity. Today, our focus is still on commercial HVAC, working with contractors on new construction as well as providing service to building owners, property managers and tenants.  Our service area is generally defined by a 170 mile radius from our headquarters in Sacramento, covering the Greater Sacramento and San Joaquin Valley although we gladly do work all over California when requested by our customers.

We work to develop a climate of collaboration and partnering with our customers by providing them with solutions to their indoor environmental needs at every stage of the building life-cycle.  We believe that every successful project requires a team approach among all members including the owner, designers, general contractors and sub contractors.  We pride ourselves in our ability to be part of a team, both as a follower and as a leader, depending on the circumstances and the job requirements.
