Chappell & Associates Construction LLC

Chappell & Associates Construction LLC was established by brothers Lee and Tommy Chappell in 1992. Tommy was working as  a helicopter pilot in the SCARNG and Lee was a welder by trade. Although their current jobs were far from heavy yellow equipment, their roots were deeply embedded in the Heavy Construction industry. Their Father’s family had been owners and operators in the heavy highway construction industry since the early 1950s.

With a used backhoe bought for use on the family farm, they began doing small excavation jobs in their local community of Newberry, SC. By 1994 they had grown to performing large land clearing projects to major agricultural,industrial and school sites by 1996. 

Lee and Tommy continue to enjoy the site work industry and have a fleet of well maintained gps/laser assisted dozers , excavators and other earthmoving equipment. They have long employed/capable operators and boast a robust company safety program. Their areas of operation include the Midlands, Piedmont and Upstate of South Carolina.
