Scope Of Work
56 West 125th Street is a new apartment development By The Jay Group currently under construction. The site is half a block from the 2 and 3 trains, and three blocks from the 125th Street train station serviced by Metro North. This is one of several substantial new buildings filed for the neighborhood, showing the economic revitalization of Harlem is far from over. The Jay Group is responsible for the development. The 160-foot tall structure will yield 139,200 square feet, with 100,930 square feet dedicated to residential use and 12,410 square feet for ground floor commercial retail use. 141 apartments will be created, averaging 716 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Residents will benefit from a lobby, parking for 71 bicycles, storage space, and three recreational spaces on the second floor.
