Monroe Construction Group LLC

Chris graduated from Purdue University in 1989 with a BS Degree in Construction Management.  Upon obtaining his degree from Purdue, Chris began working for a large construction company out of Oxford, Ohio; Baker Concrete Construction, Inc.  In this position Chris learned a lot about commercial construction.  He was responsible for Project Management, Quality Control, Safety Management, and Project Engineering: taking a job from the estimate stage and building it.  He was employed with Baker Concrete from 1989 – 1994.

In 1994 Chris and his wife, Vanessa, decided to start their own construction company building homes in Central Indiana with a focus on Kokomo, IN.  Monroe Custom Homes, Inc. has been proudly serving Central Indiana since 1994.  Over the years Chris has built his business into one of the areas most reputable homebuilders.  He did this using a no-nonsense approach and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Through the years, several of the Monroe Custom Homes clients that are business owners have asked us to do some commercial work for them.  Operating as Monroe Custom Homes we did several jobs in the commercial arena, and then decided it was something that should be pursued.  Therefore in May of 2009, Monroe Construction Group, LLC was formed!

Monroe Construction Group, LLC has performed many commercial jobs in the past years and plans to grow this business, as well as continue building homes via Monroe Custom Homes, Inc.
