R&S is one of the largest networks of residential and commercial garage door and automatic gate dealers in California. With over 30 locations in northern California alone, our goal of providing top notch sales and service has kept us on top within the garage door industry for over 57 years.

R&S is known and respected in the door industry for its quick service and commitment to quality. Founded in 1963 by Robert Smith who with a vision, hard work and determination would develop and grow R&S into the industry leader it is today.

Quick growth and increasing demand resulted in the start of production of rolling door products. With a five acre manufacturing facility in Union City, as well as operations in Southern California and Portland Oregon, R&S now manufactures and distributes, a full line of high quality rolling door products, garage doors and openers for all applications.
