Scope Of Work
The 63,000 square foot facility features a 364-seat recital hall, 13 studios, a string institute, percussion studio, rooms for choral study performance, state-of-the-art recording facilities, computer lab, modern expanded library, classrooms for theory and composition, and rooms for conferences, conventions and community functions.
Design was by the late Philip Johnson of Philip Johnson and Alan Ritchie (designers of the AT&T headquarters in New York City and several renowned concert venues). Acoustics were designed by Cyril Harris, whose work includes the Kennedy Center and New York’s Metropolitan Opera.
