Scope Of Work
The Organizational Headquarters Campus for Mennonite Central Committee started construction in May of 2001. The “Welcoming Place” consists of four guest houses a Village Center, along with the creation of a Village Green. The Village Green provides a welcoming environment established around a village type setting.
The guest housing consists of four 5,000 square foot housing clusters, each able to accommodate up to 22 guests in 11 bedrooms. The Village Center is designed as a two-story building with roughly 7,000 square feet of area per floor. The building consists of a gathering hall, large assembly rooms, break-out rooms, children’s areas, public restrooms, storage a mechanical equipment room.
