Greg McAninch 's Bio
Greg joined Timberlake Homes in 2001 as Director of Land Development ultimately becoming Chief Operating Officer. Greg oversees and is responsible for community development and construction from purchase to the exit of the community and includes all aspects of house construction. Prior to joining Timberlake Homes, Greg spent 18 years in the land development planning and engineering community at various engineering companies working in various jurisdictions. With a strong foundation in planning, engineering and project management, this has allowed Greg to successfully transition into the development and building operations of Timberlake Homes and Timberlake Design/Build.
Jason Minzer's Bio
As President of Timberlake Homes, Jason Minzer leads the strategic direction of the organization. Since joining the Timberlake team in 2009, he has brought expert insight and recommendations on construction planning, scheduling, budgeting, and technology. His efforts have significantly contributed to Timberlake’s expansion into new product types, improved build cycles and quality—helping grow the company and continuing to provide excellent customer service. On behalf of Timberlake Homes, Jason is a member of Builder Partnerships, a group comprised of similarly sized builders across the country.
Prior to joining Timberlake, Jason worked for Denison Landscaping as Project Manager in their home building division. This role laid the foundation for his start as a Site Manager at Timberlake Homes. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Management from the Perdue School of Business.
John H. Minzer's Bio
John Minzer serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Timberlake Homes, B.T., while simultaneously serving as the Managing Partner and/or Member of numerous additional corporations, including Timberlake Design/Build.
Mr. Minzer has been actively involved in residential and commercial construction and land development for over 45 years. He has been involved in numerous home development projects throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area and Delaware and has performed virtually every task associated with the process of new home construction since the mid-1970s. Mr. Minzer currently oversees and coordinates every aspect of the day-to-day management of Timberlake Homes and Timberlake Design/Build, including all banking activities, marketing and sales, selection of land (both for development and as finished lots), and negotiations with trade partners and suppliers.
Over the years, Mr. Minzer has participated in numerous seminars and workshops throughout the country relating to management, marketing, and production in the home building industry. He is currently licensed with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission as a Contractor/Salesman in the State of Maryland.

Justin Shepherd 's Bio
Justin Shepherd has worked with Timberlake for over 14 years. In his most recent role, Justin manages the firm’s purchasing processes related to construction services and building material supply, including vendor solicitation and prequalification, contract bidding, negotiation, and award, as well as vendor performance, management, and feedback/monitoring. Justin leads the Purchasing and Estimating division staff on all projects for both the Production and Design/Build Divisions, including oversight throughout the entire duration of a project from negotiation and initial contract administration to project closeout. As a Vice President, Justin will continue playing an important role in the company’s strategic growth.

Adam Minzer's Bio
Adam Minzer has watched his family build houses his entire life. His appreciation for creating communities and building homes is deep in his roots. For the past five years, Adam worked directly with Timberlake homeowners, constructing homes in various Maryland communities. During this time, Adam worked closely with Timberlake’s production team to effectively manage the timely and accurate construction of homes for purchasers while providing the highest quality product possible. He worked daily with the various trade partners involved in the house construction process to expand his knowledge beyond the average superintendent. Most notably, his customer service, management skills, and attention to detail enabled him to successfully oversee, complete and settle houses on time. Adam now manages newly acquired raw projects in Maryland and Delaware, turning them into ready-to-build subdivisions.
In his spare time, Adam enjoys anything with an engine and is motorsports related. He loves to fabricate and drift cars around the track competitively and for fun.
Jonathan Tepper's Bio
Jonathan joins the Timberlake team full-time in 2020, after serving as a consultant since 2015. He is responsible for the overall sales and marketing efforts of both Timberlake Production and Timberlake Design Build operations.
Prior to Timberlake, Jonathan has 30+ years of experience with national homebuilders, leading their efforts in land development, sales, and marketing strategies for the mid-Atlantic region.
Jonathan has been active in the building industry, serving for many years on the Sales & Marketing Judging Committee of the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association (NVBIA) GALA Awards. He is currently a member of the Sales & Marketing committee of the Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA).
In addition to those duties, he serves on the Board of Directors of ArtStream, which provides artistic classes, workshops, and performing opportunities to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs). He is also a Special Olympics Basketball coach. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys all sports activities and is a long time Washington Caps 365 fan.

Brian Messineo 's Bio
Brian joined Timberlake Homes in 2014 as Vice President of Land Acquisition. With 12 years of experience in land acquisition in the residential real estate sector, Brian has developed a diverse background across a wide range of platforms garnered while working with two of the top 10 national homebuilding companies in the country. His responsibilities include new deal sourcing and acquisitions, preparation and coordination of land development feasibility studies and budgets, contract negotiations, and coordination of land approvals/entitlements. A graduate of the University of Maryland, University College, Brian is an active board member with the Anne Arundel County Chapter of the Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA).
