CertaPro Painters of Northwest Indiana

John Jordan is the Owner and President of CertaPro Painters. He began CertaPro Painters out of the basement of his home in 2013 after the successful sale of his family’s 3 generation business.
The objective in starting CertaPro Painters was to offer a trusted and reliable service to homes and businesses within his community in Northwest Indiana. John takes significant pride in creating a culture and an environment where his team of professional managers and painting professionals can achieve the success they desire and pride in the work they produce. John focuses most of his efforts on the leadership and strategy of the company as well as sales in both residential and commercial divisions. John is married to his wife Rachel, an oncology nurse at an oncology and hematology office in Crown Point and has two daughters, Hannah and Haley, in schools in the Crown Point School District.
The culture at CertaPro Painters has allowed associates and team members to have a great deal of success and when teams come together success is the result. We are proud to announce that CertaPro Painters of Schererville/NWI has been nominated to the CertaCup award for 2016 along with winning the 2016 Midwest Franchise of the Year. Several team members also won regional and national awards for their performance in 2016.

Jersey girl born and raised now calling Crown Point, IN my home. An education and professional background in Advertising/Marketing. I’ve worked in copy-testing in the advertising mecca NY to excelling as a driven sales professional in a host of different industries from Fortune 500 to local small businesses. My goal driven mentality helps me understand your needs, uncover concerns, cultivate relationships, adaptive selling to retain customers and always available to take your call.

At the end of a busy work day you can find me on any number of sporting events with my two, active boys. The best title I own is Mom.

Jamie, originally from a small town in IL – Washington – near Peoria has been a Crown Point resident for over 20 years along with her husband Dennis. Jamie has held positions in office management, administrative and customer service and support for the past 10 years. Jamie joined CertaPro in February 2016 and enjoyed a superb first year, earning her the Office Manager of the Year for the Midwest Region for CertaPro Painters and was nominated for the National award. Jamie also loves to bowl and avidly supports her sport by serving as the 1st VP of her local bowling association and travels annually to the National Conference.

Mark began his construction management career in 2000 working in his father’s general contracting business until 2002 when he joined the United States Marine Corps. After receiving an Honorable Discharge in 2006he worked in both the security and facilities management industries in management positions. Mark was introduced to CertaPro in 2013 by Owner and President of CertaPro Painters of Schererville/NWI John Jordan and ultimately joined the team in 2014 managing operations and production. Mark is married to his wife Dawn and together they have 2 kids Sean and Alexis.

Dan was born and raised in NWI, living in Hobart most of his life. Dan comes to CertaPro with over 20 years of customer experience in NWI helping local residents find solutions. Dan is married to Angela, who manages an office in Highland and together they have four great children Galvan, Morgan a student at Trine University in Angola and twins Garrett and Corbin who are both students at Vincennes University in southern Indiana. Dan likes to spend his newfound empty nester time with his wife supporting local restaurants, entertainment venues and spending time with their two rescue dogs Thor and Fish. He and his wife love to camp and travel although now most of their travels are to visit the kids at college! GO

Dan was born and raised in Cleveland, OH and moved to Griffith, IN in 2007. He joins the CertaPro team with over 15 years of experience in the coatings industry. Dan is married to Susan, a Human Resource Director in Chicago and they have three wonderful children, Caitlyn, Jimmy, and Lizzie. He enjoys traveling and camping with his family. In his down time he loves watching his children play with and care for their newly adopted rescue dog Betsy Mae.
