Sadrach Chavez got his start in construction early. He was introduced to heating and cooling when his father, recommended work at Wiley’s Heating and Cooling. Construction was at an all time high and Sadrach learned the business from the ground up. He was first put to work in the warehouse, where he spent his time learning the different parts and their functions. When Mr. Wiley opened a metal workshop, Chavez switched positions and began working on metal fabrication for the company’s HVAC jobs. Eventually, Chavez would move to the field where he worked his way up, gaining essential knowledge along the way. Starting as an extra trim and set guy, he ended his time with the company in his own van. Around the time Chavez was also walking house inspections with inspectors and Mr. Wiley, himself, he also became interested in codes & design.
After his time with Wiley’s Heating and Cooling, Chavez worked with several HVAC companies, before setting out on his own with Air Touch Heating & Cooling in 2013. Through ownership, he has been able to help family and friends. To Chavez, helping others is his true calling. At the end of 2017, Sadrach Chavez partnered with longtime friend and fellow business owner, Christopher Hudson. The move has allowed for rapid growth and an opportunity to give back to the community on a larger scale.
