Scope Of Work
The recently constructed buildings at the White Oak Campus provide the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) with the tools necessary for effectively implementing the initiatives of the FDA. As Prime Contractor, alterations and renovations to FDA offices, laboratories, and support facilities were phased to provide ongoing workspace in the secure government facilities. Improvements included Design+Build of new work spaces, laboratory BSL-3 Certification process, HVAC upgrades, and miscellaneous work across five buildings. Also included was FF & E for more than 125 work stations. The Order of Magnitude for this project was more than $7.9M. As a result of the outstanding performance by Edifice, five more contracts have been awarded and are currently underway for this client, for a total of $14M.
