Ed is an Owner/Managing Partner in The Wormald Companies overseeing
all aspects of the Wormald organization. Ed’s particular focus day to
day is on corporate operations, business strategy and financial
management. With 26 years of experience and a Virginia Class A general
contractor’s license, Ed manages the condominium, used home, office,
mixed-use, and multi-family projects design, construction, operations,
sales and leasing. As a graduate of Virginia Tech and CIU, and a
registered Professional Engineer in four states, Ed heads up the
engineering, project approvals, land acquisition and new business
development for all new residential and commercial projects. Ed is on
the Board of four homeowners associations and is President of two of
them. Ed’s work experience prior to joining the family business
included the design and construction management of
multi-million-dollar municipal projects for international firms such
as Camp Dresser and McKee and the Parsons Corporation. He is on a
Maryland Senate committee and is a Board Member of two charitable
organizations. As a father of six children, a hobby farmer, a
respected soccer coach, a church member and a boy scout leader, Ed is
very active in community life.
