Scope Of Work
PCS, Inc. provided asbestos abatement and selective demolition services for the NRL Chesapeake Beach Detachment, which operates as the Navy’s full-spectrum corporate laboratory. PCS, Inc.’s abatement team removed asbestos from four of the five buildings at the facility and demolished the entire Central Heating Plant and Boiler House, all while maintaining a safe work environment. Our personnel utilized scissor lifts, torch cutters, man-lifts and bobcats to complete the job. PCS, Inc. worked closely with the facility and NAVFAC to minimize project impacts with facility employees and their research.
