Scope Of Work
Graham Construction partnered with The Graham Group to construct a 600,000 square foot general commodity warehouse for XPO Logistics in Des Moines, IA. This building is the second largest single building in Polk . The tenant required a 125,000 square foot space that could maintain 50 degrees at 50% humidity which required an insulated demising wall and special construction to avoid condensation.
The building is a 24’ clear conventional steel frame with load bearing precast exterior walls and 60 mil TPO roof. The loading dock area has 48 dock doors and two on grade accessible overhead doors. The building uses an Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) fire sprinkler system.
