Scope Of Work
The Living Memorial to the Holocaust at Museum of Jewish Heritage in Battery Park City in Manhattan, New York CIty honors those who died in the Holocaust, and stands to educate its visitors about 20th and 21st century Jewish history and heritage.
The Museum opened in 1997 and contains items about modern Jewish history and the Holocaust. The six-sided building with a six-tiered pyramidal roof is symbolic of the six points of the Star of David, which is also detailed on the top of the roof, and the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust.
