Scope Of Work
The Malcom Randall VA Medical Center is a new five-story patient bed tower with approximately 245,000 SF. It includes a mechanical penthouse, four floors of patient beds and ground floor supporting services including urology, ophthalmology and chest pain observation clinics. The new tower provides 240 private patient rooms with visiting space in each room to correct patient privacy deficiencies in the existing hospital. Construction of a satellite emergency generator building and removal and upgrade of two existing chillers and cooling towers was also included.
