Scope Of Work
Two projects were completed for Blue Cross Blue Shield: construction of a data center training facility, a subsequent addition of office space to the original structure. The 95,000 SF data center training facility is a single-story building that serves as the primary data processing center for Healthcare Services Corporation. Due to the importance of keeping computer systems online, the building was designed to withstand natural disasters and other emergency situations. The two-story office addition involved construction totaling 59,700 SF. The additional space is used as office space for the IT portion of the company.
