R.S. Wallace Construction Co.

I started R.S. Wallace Construction Co. in Portland, Oregon in 1987. My love of carpentry dates back four decades to my experience as a student working on a two-story post and beam barn on a beautiful hillside in British Columbia. Working on that barn began my lifelong love of wood and the joy of being able to shape that wood into buildings.

We have a stellar reputation with the majority of our work coming from referrals. Many of our customers call us back time after time for new projects on their homes or to remodel after they move to a new home.

I never grow tired of the creative process of building. My love for problem solving, the collaboration with all the parties involved to come up with something wonderful. The camaraderie on the job with the workers and the subcontractors all of whom I consider my friends. Satisfying my customers. Working closely with them to fulfill their vision for the project. Creating something that will last, that is durable and beautiful. That is what I love most about building.
