Scope Of Work

The mission of Velux Skylights is quite simple. It’s to bring the natural elements of daylight and fresh air through the roof to where people live, work, and enjoy themselves. A skylight is the best way to do that. It brings in 3 times more light than a vertical window, and even the federal government has said that the most energy efficient window in the world is a Velux skylight.

Globally, we have 20,000 employees. We have tens of thousands of vehicles that we manage. And we had a big initiative to leverage our global strength to going into one partner on many things –whether it was forklifts, whether it was steel, whether it was leasing. And so, we followed in the footsteps of our global plan and used a … tested, I should say, a different company for fleet management. Let’s just say it wasn’t a good experience.

We always come back to Mike Albert, because both the reliability, the service, the cost, and our overall experience is better than working with any other company. And at this point in time, in the United States, we are the only Velux company around the world, not using the global partner. That’s the advantage we have with Mike Albert.
