SolarTech Direct is a certified minority-owned small business based in Seattle WA. Our Founder & President, Kris de Leon, is passionate about solving problems. When he heard complaints from friends and colleagues about their ridiculously high power bills, he investigated ways he can help people solve this problem.

That's when Kris came across solar. He learned about the advantages solar has in reducing energy costs. Kris has always been passionate about sustainability and clean energy, and when he saw the intersection between reducing our carbon footprint and saving money, he knew starting SolarTech Direct was the right opportunity. By offering solar products, he can help contribute to achieving the goals of cost savings and protecting the environment.

SolarTech Direct works with with solar installers, electrical contractors, roofing contractors, general contractors, HVAC contractors, federal prime contractors, government agencies, home builders, engineering firms, and developers by providing procurement and distribution of solar power and energy storage equipment for their solar projects. 

We partner directly with manufacturers and nationwide distribution channels so that we can offer a wide selection of solar panels and quality components that are in stock at affordable prices. Through our partnership with an engineering firm, we also offer solar design services including a Professional Engineering (PE) stamp in 40 states.
