I have worked in construction since I was 15 years old. I started out doing masonry as a "hod carrier" for Luke Erickson Masonry in 2007. In 2008 I went to Custom Masonry Incorporated as a "shop boy" where I performed many tasks around the shop including cutting brick/block, cleaning and loading trucks or general labor work. I would go carry "hod" meaning mix the mortar and make sure the masons had brick and block to install during the summers while in High School. When I graduated I started my career in excavation with Rotschy Incorporated. There I performed many different tasks in the field from laying pipe to operating and everything in between. I was then trained on there GPS grade control systems to work with them as well as diagnose them and set up sites. I moved from Rotschy to Tradesman Electric in 2015 to help them start a "dirt division" where I spent 9 months learning to install electrical vaults, conduit etc. and learning many office related tasks as I was half in the field half in the office. I decided after 9 months that I missed the large excavation and did not want to be confined to only electrical excavation so I started for Tapani Inc in the beginning of 2016 doing estimating and after I learned to estimate I moved to Project Managing where I finished there in the late fall of 2017 managing several large projects for them. After much deliberation I started Odyssey Contracting in the late fall of 2017 and here I am today. There are many people I have worked with that have helped me grow to what I am today and I will always remember them and want to thank them.
