Scope Of Work

Core States Group provided prototypically and other design services for strip center, end-cap and free-standing retail stores for Best Buy in various locations throughout the Central U.S.  In addition, Core States Group adopted to the City of West Des Moines' (pictured) strict 360-degree architecture and visual aesthetic requirements for a building development of this size.  This 45,000 square-foot Best Buy store at Jordan Creek Center is located at a prominent intersection to accommodate the influx of traffic for the growing community. The large open interior of the store, with a standard 22-foot ceiling height, is visually divided into product sections with colorful banner and graphics, and custom-designed fixtures and shelving.  Additional design elements include the use of decorative brick, colored EIFS, custom cornice and pilasters on the exterior.  The use of Best Buy's iconic blue wedge and "Ticket" signage gives this store its individuality that is recognized across the United States.
