Scope Of Work

Core States Group works hand-in-hand with the Skechers Design Team to produce construction drawings for their U.S. stores.  Additionally, services are provided for site surveys and full permitting services.  This "start-to-finish" service allows us to manage the pre-construction time carefully and ensure all projects start on time.

Skechers has tree types of stores; retail, outlet, and warehouse.  The first two typically are in the 1,800 to 2,500 square feet range and are most often in mall-type settings.  Whereas their fastest-growing segment, warehouse stores, are anywhere from 8,000 to 10,000 square feet and occupy power centers and key strip centers with great visibility.  

All concepts have several key components in common - significant branding and the Skechers world-famous blue color.  Area signage directs you to the specific section you are looking for and the "Work" section is highlighted with a tango colored wall paint.  Wall graphics adorn the storefront windows and wall throughout all concepts, but on variation does exist - in the lighting.  The retails stores are darker and portray an almost mysterious feel, while the outlet and warehouse stares are bright with higher or no ceilings at all.
