Scope Of Work
FireSafe Systems was able to come in below budget for the fireproofing of the steel structural columns requiring a 1 hour fire rating in Building no. 2 using a high end quality intumescent paint.
For Building 1 requiring a 2 hour fire rating the customer hired an independent engineering firm to test the intumescent water based paint and they concluded in an Engineered Judgment that a certain amount of mils along with a top coat, a 2 hour rating will be achieved.
