A structural engineering campaign created dramatic spaces, gardens and terraces Within, behind and atop this mansion width townhouse. The grand
proportions of the parlour rooms were restored and then amplified by a double height fenestrated sunroom overlooking a lush Winter garden. Three elegantly curved staircases address overcome the challenges of vertical living and associated pitfalls of interior circulation (the insertion of a high-speed elevator helped) The luxuries and materials of grand living seamlessly marry the conveniences and technical toys of modem era casual downtown Living.
