Terri Sergio began training for her impressive medical career in Neonatal Intensive Care soon after graduating Summa Cum Laude. She completed her medical training from the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, was licensed as a Registered Nurse and certified in Neonatal Intensive Care in 1977. Over the next seven years she served as a NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit) staff nurse for four hospitals in two states. She also served as a Labor & Delivery staff nurse, a transport nurse and as a night shift charge nurse.
In 1984, she became a NICU staff nurse, transport nurse and night charge nurse for Memorial Hospital where she served for the next 25 years caring for more than a thousand premature babies in critical condition. During those years she also joined her husband Dr. Joseph Sergio in his successful disaster restoration business helping to design and launch the Contents Restoration Division, which eventually grew into its’ own regional processing facility.
As her interests grew in the family owned business, so did her professional expertise as she completed training in Structural Drying and Biohazard Remediation. She then help found and lead Polar Clean LLC and Polar Clean America, LLC as a Partner & the President and CEO. Her technical training, HACCP Certification, SQF Practitioner Certification and expertise in the medical and restoration fields have served her well in guiding use of the cutting-edge technology-based techniques used by her companies to serve the sanitization needs of the petrochemical, power generation, food manufacturing and processing industries, as well as many other specialized industries.
