Scope Of Work
Skanska provided preconstruction and construction management services for this 14-month capital improvement project, which includes a 50,000-SF expansion/renovation of the existing casino facility and the construction of a 70,000-SF, six-story, 250-guest room hotel with restaurants, retail, meeting rooms, fitness center, center bar and stage.
The design for the expansion of the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel is inspired by its scenic location along the Rio Grande and complements the beauty of the natural surroundings of this unique setting. The architect's vibrant Mexican aesthetic, characterized by thick walls, small openings and enhanced with vivid colors and textural contrast, accentuates the building's natural surroundings and serves as a launching point for the expression of this new and dynamic facility.
