Scope Of Work

This project was a tough one. The home was built in the 1970's by a 4 star general in the Army so the house is bullet proof, literally. The new owner wanted a complete Crestron system to control 6 TV's, 5 zones of audio, door locks & sensors, outdoor cameras, 2 smart thermostats, 45 light switches and upgrades to the network. The challenge with this home was getting wires from the basement to the top floor through the walls. All of the beams are 4x8 instead of 2x4 which lead to some tight spaces. We had to creatively mount TV's on stone and brick walls and hide the cords. We also had to find ways to hide speakers because we couldn't put in-ceiling speakers in due to the wood beam structure. Lastly, we had to program all of the devices to work together. Our in house programmer managed to build a custom code to set up controls on 2 iPad's and the owners iPhone. The owner also has remote access to his home to let people in when away or be notified of any strange activity inside or outside of his home.
