Scope Of Work
The mechanical and fire suppression project involves improving equipment and system efficiencies in Building 172 at Altus AFB. CNC was tasked with making modifications for air moving mechanical equipment and to replace chilled water plant equipment to include piping, pumps, and fans. CNC removed existing cooling towers, HVAC pumps, piping above and below grade, and mechanical equipment throughout the courtyard. New equipment brought in and installed included piping, ductwork, fire dampers, controls, valves, access doors, pumps, fans, electrical circuits and conduit, and new HVAC emergency power-off switches.
