Scope Of Work

Warehouse safety netting

Many of our customers store or handle materials at various heights within their facility. Some product can be stored over 30ft above the floor and is located near pedestrian walkways. OSHA and ANSI are clear in their expectations for these situations. They state that “Neither public traffic nor workers shall be permitted underneath a work area unless they are protected from falling objects.” In short, safety netting systems are critical safety measures in any warehouse environment.

How can we help?

MTAC partners with clients to design and implement customized netting solutions for any type of warehouse, distribution center or manufacturing environment. We provide and install material handling netting and hardware for all warehouse and material handling applications – anywhere you need to reduce product loss and keep people safe.

Key Applications:

Single Racks – where there is loading or unloading from one side, it is especially important to have a net barrier system. Protect areas of heavy pedestrian traffic or work stations from falling inventory.

Horizontal Pallet Flow – where employees are working and the risk of injury is higher from stock stored above.

Flue Spaces – between back-to-back racks. Many customers experience product loss when cartons fall down into the flue space.

Mezzanine Guards – Safety netting is used to fill open spaces between the top rail and kick plate. This protects personnel and inventory from accidental falls through openings in an unsecured rail.

Conveyor Guards – With any overhead conveyor system the dangers to workers and potential losses from falling stock are ever present. These dangers can be reduced or prevented with a safety net barrier on the sides and beneath the conveyor.
