This was a small sushi restaurant that started construction in May of 2020. Due to COVID19 outbreak, there was a long delay from project startup to completion. We worked vigilantly with our general contractor from Canada to team up with a local general contractor they had hired to oversee operations. We also worked firsthand with the building owner's rep, Lettuce Entertain You as well as the architect O'Kelly Kasprak.
There was a difficult task to overtake on the existing electrical feeder run to the space as was to be originally installed by landlord. We tracked down existing conduit run and provided new installation of feeders and panelboard within tenant space.
An additional installation situation was the millwork tubular steel we needed to install our UL listed electrical materials within as the millwork was not listed. We work with the general contractor to overcome this as well as the signage vendor so that we could provide the client with a clean, effect installation for lighting and illuminated signage.
